Sky Now TV box is a  999 Roku clone that streams iPlayer and more

BSkyB began investing in Roku last year and leveraged participation in the development of this new TV decoder now. From now on sale for only ? 9.99 (including postage), brings a brand new Roku 2 XS with integrated Sky and a list of additional channels healed IPTV software platform. Notably absent from the list are Netflix, Lovefilm, ITV Player and 4oD, but now TV (of course), iPlayer, Demand Five, Spotify, Facebook and various Sky channels are included. Give a little flexibility compared to standard player, but very low income is certainly an attractive option. Roku is facing greater competition than ever with the new game consoles, Chromecast the ambitions of Google and even Apple TV, we'll see if the association with traditional suppliers makes the "operating system for TVs" CEO Anthony Wood wants.
