DNP Nintendo of America retiring several Wii network services on June 28th

Today, Nintendo announced that many of the online services of the original Wii, fade to black in the homeland of the console. Adding to the carnage, the company confirmed that we Yankees are far from exempt. On 28 June, the Weather Channel News Channel, Everybody Votes Channel, Check Mii Out Channel, and the Nintendo Channel will all be online. Wii Message Board data exchange between friends are expected to get the ax too.
