'Don't Shoot My Dog' Laws Proposed
Swapped
animals are cool. People are holes. Any bill that prevents people from harm animals insane is a good thing. The natural enemy of the family dog ??is the local police. Some of the stories we hear about cops shooting dogs, friend, it's like they do not even try to deal with a rational animal. They shoot first and put the belt. I understand that some people are just irrational fear of dogs, but the cops are armed and in stressful situations. And as "dog murder " is not really one thing, there is no incentive for the police to keep the fire.
We reported in the past about how jury awards are higher when they are the police for killing animals imprudence family. But money can not replace the company of his best friend. Now a State tries to take more decisive action by requiring police to learn how to deal with children, "short hair" ....
"The reason I think is important is not only the dogs belonging to the most people, is short, furry children," [said Jennifer Edwards Law Center animals]. "They are part of the family, and it is absolutely devastating to lose an animal and lose an animal so unfairly when it could be solved by better training and a better understanding of dog behavior."the Denver Post (gavel bang: ABA Journal) reports that a bill entitled "Do not shoot my dog" law making its way through the Senate of the State of Colorado.
The bill would require police officers to receive training on how to deal with dogs. And enjoys bipartisan support:
- sponsors of the bill, Democratic and Republican David Balmer Lucia Guzman, notes that "the landscaping companies [and] delivery companies" dealing with the dogs all the time, without pulling.
